Have you ever seen anyone train or work out in high heels? It was a first time for me too, Natalia Muntean the #1 international fitness model didn’t hesitate for a second until it came to the last exercise, the knee tuck jump. That was probably a smart idea considering the impact on landing during that exercise. If she attempted and pulled that one off I might have hung up my personal training shoes forever! You can get more expert advice from Natalia at http://www.BodyByNatalia.com/
These exercises will help get your heart rate up, burn fat and recruit fast twitch muscle fibers that degenerate with age. It is important to progress properly before doing the last 2 exercises. What I mean by that is make sure that you have done at least a couple weeks of basic strength and conditioning, especially if you are a training newbie.
When I was saying land like a Ninja, I was somewhat serious because plyometric exercises should be seen and not heard, so land light, like you were going to jump on glass with bare feet. It was also a little inside joke because the man holding the camera was Dan Go, the self professed Ninja and owner of a Top fitness bootcamp in Toronto and website http://www.thefatlossninja.com/. He is the one sitting next to me in the photo below. We took this pic last week in Costa Mesa, California for a Fitness Summit where, over 400 motivated personal trainers, fitness experts and coaches got together to learn and network in order to serve others looking to get in the best shape of their lives.
Natalia brings up a great point at the end, no matter what exercises you do, no matter how much you train, if your diet is not in order you will not see results! Also, warm up extra before doing the last 2 exercises because they are more strenuous on joints than your average strength training exercises.
