The notorious and globular 5lbs of fat always make people who aren’t working out feel guilty. The visual and kinesthetic effect puts things in perspective and really drives a point home without having to use any words. If someone came into our training facility and said I need to lose 15lbs of fat and I just handed them the 5lb blob shown in the video above and the picture below, they will instantly understand that they need to get to work FAST, as the 5lb prop creates a sense of urgency. That, or they would despise me for doing such a thing.

HARVARD’S 26 HEALTH REVELATIONS
About a month ago I received in the mail Harvard’s 26 Health Revelations. I decided to post them and comment on certain “health revelations”. There seems to be a pattern with these “health revelations” that I am not sure I like. After the 26 health revelations, I give my 4 health revelations.
1) Relax. The rumor that olive oil turns into “bad” trans fat when used in cooking just isn’t true.

Hey, Ian Hart here and today I have a guest post from Ryanne Goneke a Beaufort, SC native and the newest person to join the EarthFIT staff. Ryanne spent a lot of her upbringing in the gym along side her dad while he trained for power lifting competitions. She practically grew up in the gym and started teaching fitness as young as age 16.
